Woman Dies Trying To Get Phone
A woman has been killed whilst attempting to retrieve her phone from train tracks.
The 23-year-old, from Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, was struck by a Waterloo to Exeter express train on Sunday evening.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Chief Inspector Alison Evans from British Transport Police (BTP) described the incident as a "tragic accident".

Ronnie Biggs has been formally released from prison today on compassionate grounds. Justice Secretary Jack Straw yesterday approved the Great Train Robber's release. Biggs - who turns 80 tomorrow - is severely ill with pneumonia was told he is unlikely to recover.

Rail worker arrested over Cumbrian train crash
A Network rail employee has been arrested by police investigating the Cumbrian train crash in which an elderly woman died. The 46-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday and released on bail until October 31 according to the British Transport Police (BTP).

O2 abandon 'roaming' charge
Mobile phone operator O2 is abandoning charges for incoming calls while abroad. The move will initially only apply in Spain, but will extend across the rest of Europe some time next year. O2's customers wanting to take advantage of the offer must pay £5 a month.

A new mobile phone service is to be launched by pay-TV company Sky in partnership Telefonica, O2's Spanish parent company. Sky, adding mobile to its internet, landline and TV, will use Telefonica UK's wireless network to offer the new service.
