Divers Scour Trawler Wreck
Divers are continuing their dives on the wrecked trawler in the County Cork coast making best use of favourable weather conditions.
Garda and naval service dive teams conducted a number of dives on Friday morning while three fishermen remain missing since their vessel sank off the west Cork coast on Sunday.
Yesterday, divers recovered the bodies of 21-year-old Kevin Kershaw and 26-year-old Attia Shaban.
The Tit Bonhomme's skipper Michael Hayes, 52, and Egyptians Wael Mohammed and Saied Ali Eldin are still missing.
On Thursday, the Naval Service confirmed what it was with regret that two bodies were recovered from the vicinity of the Tit Bonhomme by dive teams.
The Garda Dive Team recovered the body of a man close to the vessel at 9.45am and transported it to the Union Hall Quay.
At 12.20pm the Naval Service Dive Team recovered the body of a second man, again close to the vessel. The body of the second man was transferred to the LE Niamh and then transported to the Union Hall Quay by Rigid Inflatable Boat.
The Navy's LE Niamh remains on station in Glandore Bay, acting as the on scene coordinating vessel.
A remotely operated vehicle (ROV) has been brought in and is being used to search parts of the Tit Bonhomme that are inaccessible to divers.
