Robin Gibb Funeral Today
The funeral of Bee Gees singer Robin Gibb is to be held later in his home town in Oxfordshire.
Fans are expected to line the streets of Thame to pay their respects as his body is taken in a horse-drawn carriage to his funeral.
Gibb, who was born in the Isle of Man, died from kidney failure in May after suffering from cancer and pneumonia.
M&S To Launch In-Store Banking
High Street retailer Marks and Spencer has said it will launch an in-store banking service this summer, backed by HSBC.
The first branch is set to open in July at the group's flagship store at Marble Arch in London.
It plans to open a total of 50 branches in M&S stores over the next two years, creating 500 jobs by the end of 2013.
M&S said it would start offering a current account from autumn 2012, with mortgages available "at a later date".
Solo Rower Rescued In Pacific Ocean
British adventurer Sarah Outen has been rescued after a severe storm forced her to abandon her world record solo row across the North Pacific Ocean.
The coastguard rescued the Rutland explorer, bidding to become the first woman to row from Japan to Canada.
Her boat, Gulliver, was damaged by high waves during a tropical storm.
A second British rower, Charlie Martell, of Cirencester, also abandoned his solo Pacific trek when he was hit by the same storm.

Pair Await Rescue In Pacific
A British man and a New Zealand woman are awaiting rescue in the Pacific Ocean. The pair’s ship rolled on Wednesday about 700km (434 miles) south-west of Tonga and 1,260km north-east of New Zealand, according to the rescue team. The yacht was damaged and has righted itself, but it has been reported that it is taking on water and could sink.

Blair backs Asia-Pacific climate deal
The Prime Minister has backed an Asia-Pacific climate pact that seeks to use technology to reduce emissions rather than meeting pre-agreed targets. Mr Blair said that the pact between the US, China, India, Australia, Japan and South Korea was an initiative "in the same direction" as others aimed at reducing emissions.

Pilot Arrested After He Was Found Carrying Knives
Passengers due to fly from Heathrow to Hong Kong were delayed overnight when the pilot of the flight was arrested for allegedly possessing knives. It is understood that a number of weapons were discovered during a search of flight crew staff.
