Man Charged With Rape OF 13-Year-Old Boy
A man has appeared in court charged with raping a 13-year-old boy in the toilets of a Manchester shopping centre.
Police were called to the Spindles shopping centre in Oldham, Greater Manchester, around 16.35 on Monday afternoon following reports of an assault on a young teenager.
31-year-old Mike Leigh Tyler has subsequently been charged with two offences of rape.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "A 31-year-old man has been charged following the rape of a teenage boy in Oldham.
"Matt Leigh Tyler, of Parkway, Chadderton, was charged with two offences of rape and was due to appear at Oldham Magistrates' Court this morning."
He has been remanded to appear at Manchester Crown Court on 11 October.

Twelve-year-old charged with raping child
A 12-year-old boy has been charged with raping another boy, aged 8, in Greater Manchester, police have confirmed. The 12-year-old from the Wigan area, who can not be named for legal reasons, has been charged with two counts of rape, seven counts of sexual assault and three counts of engaging a child in sexual activity.

Veteran broadcaster Stuart Hall, 83, has appeared in court charged with 15 offences of rape relating to two girls. He also faces charges of indecent assault. Hall is currently serving a 30-month jail term for sexually abusing 13 victims over a period of 20 years. He appeared at Preston Magistrates' Court to face the charges.
