Flood Warnings Issued For Coastal Areas
Flood warnings have been issued for coastal areas of England and Wales as high tides and gale force winds could combine to cause stormy conditions.
The Environment Agency has issued about two dozen warnings, mainly in the south-west of England and the west and south of Wales.
Gusts of up to 60mph have been forecast for some areas, including Devon, Cornwall and Somerset.
Wednesday's tides are some of the highest of the year.
The Environment Agency have also said that people should be particularly careful on exposed areas, where there is a risk of being swept away by waves or being hit by debris thrown up by waves.
The Met Office said winds were expected to increase to "gale or severe gale force" on exposed parts of the coast, which could lead to localised disruption to transport.
