Bus Driver Assaulted In Westminster
Police Officers from the joint Metropolitan Police Service and Transport for London Safer Transport Command Workplace Violence Unit are appealing for help in identifying a man following an assault on a bus driver in Westminster.
The incident occurred on Wednesday 22 August 2012 at about 13:00 on a route 23 bus travelling along Bishop's Bridge Road, Paddington, W2
The bus driver stopped to change drivers and the suspect became abusive as he thought he was taking too long. The suspect then punched the driver in the face before making off.
The victim did not require medical treatment.
The suspect is described as a slim black man, wearing a striped top and dark trousers
Anyone with information is urged to contact DC Andy Morland leading the investigation for the Workplace Violence Unit on 020 3054 5489 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

The incident occurred on Monday, 10 January around 7pm, on board a route 59 bus, which was stationary on Eversholt Street in north west London.

Witness Appeal Over Hackney Bus Incident
An appeal for information has been launched on Monday after a man smashed a glass bottle on the driver's window of a bus in Hackney. Officers from the joint Metropolitan Police Service and Transport said they were investigating the incident, which occurred on Saturday October 15 at about 3.30am on a route N38 bus on Lower Clapton Road.

London Bus Drivers Postpone Strike Action
Planned strike action by London bus drivers has been postponed as an "act of goodwill". The strike action was due to take place on Friday and Monday, with drivers walking out across the city's 18 bus companies. Unite the union has called on the bus companies to accept an invitation for talks.
