London Helicopter Crash Kills Two
Two people have been killed as a helicopter crashed into a crane in central London.
The tower is a 185-metre high cylindrical block overlooking the Thames and the Houses of Parliament.
The helicopter also smashed into two cars as it plunged to the ground.
The pilot, who was the only person on the helicopter and a person on the ground were killed, according to the Metropolitan Police.
Thirteen people were injured, six are currently in hospital and one is believed to be in a critical condition. The other seven were treated at the scene.
The crash happened near Wandsworth Road in south Lambeth the London fire brigade said.
People have been urged to stay away from the area while the damage is being assessed.
The Augusta 109 helicopter was diverted to Battersea due to poor weather conditions.

Helicopter Crash Kills Two
Two people have been killed in a Lancashire helicopter crash. It is believed the aircraft crashed into the banks of an estuary. Its pilot sent a mayday signal shortly after noon, as it approached Poulton-le-Fylde, near Blackpool. According to police the wreckage was recovered 40 minutes later at Barnaby's Sands, on the periphery of Wyre estuary.

Iraq Helicopter Crash Kills Two
An RAF helicopter has gone down in Iraq, killing two UK military personnel and leaving two seriously injured. The RAF Puma helicopter crashed near Baghdad on Tuesday, but the Ministry of Defence said that while it was not believed to be the result of enemy fire, it was too early to speculate on the cause.

The UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter came down overnight, killing all on board, in the worst incident of its kind in two years. A statement from the US military said that mechanical malfunction was the cause of the crash, and that an investigation is underway.
