Fresh Abuse Claims Made Against Former Music School Teachers
More ex-pupils of the Chetham's School of Music in Manchester have come forward and made allegations of sexual abuse about other former teachers at the school.
The news follows the conviction on Friday last of former choir director Michael Brewer and ex-wife Kay for indecently assaulting Frances Andrade between 1978 and 1982.
It is understood that “a number” of former teachers are currently under investigation following fresh allegations.

Five New Charges To Be Brought Against Stuart Hall
Lancashire Police have confirmed that they are investigating fresh allegations made against former broadcaster Stuart Hall. Hall was jailed in July after admitting 14 counts of indecent assault against girls as young as nine between 1967 and 1987. His sentence of 15 months was doubled by the Court of Appeal after it ruled that it was too lenient.

A number of fresh allegations of abuse have been reported following the broadcast of BBC investigation into a former Catholic school in the Highlands. Police Scotland launched an investigation last week after the BBC reported finding evidence of sexual and pyhsical abuse of children at the Fort Augustus Abbey School.
