Four Plead Guilty To Preparation Of Terrorist Acts
Zahid Iqbal, Mohammed Sharfaraz Ahmed, Umar Arshad and Syed Farhan Hussain have pleaded guilty to engaging in conduct in preparation of terrorist acts.
The four men admitted facilitating, planning and encouraging travel overseas contrary to Section 5 of Terrorism Act 2006.
The men were arrested last year following a series of anti-terror raids in Luton.
All four, aged between 21 and 31, were due to stand trial next month.
Following their guilty plea, further charges of possessing documents including the al-Qaeda magazine Inspire will be ordered to lie on file.
Mr Justice Wilkie adjourned the case for sentencing on 15 April.

EDL Bomb Plotters Plead Guilty

Teen admits supermarket toilet rape
A 15-year-old boy has pleaded guilty to the rape of an 11-year-old girl in a supermarket toilet. The teenager had been accused of attacking the girl in the toilet at the Sainsbury's store on the Shires Retail Park in Leamington Spa on March 2. He also admitted another four charges of sexual assault during the hearing at Warwick Crown Court.

Four men have been found guilty of conspiracy to commit robbery, for an attempted burglary during which a security guard was violently attacked. Edward Smith, 32, of Staceley Close, Kevin McGee, 32, of Shearling Way, Rocky Goldsmith, 36, of Fleece Walk and Joe Tomlinson, 30, of Rydston Close, where found guilty at Blackfriars Crown Court.

Four men have been found guilty of plotting the 21/7 suicide bombing attacks in London. At Woolwich Crown Court, Muktar Said Ibrahim, 29, Hussain Osman, 28, Yassin Omar, 26, and Ramzi Mohammed, 25, were all found guilty of conspiracy to murder. The cell had tried to set off bombs on the London Tube system and a bus two weeks after the 7/7 bombings.
