One Dead As Crane Falls Onto M25
It has been reported that a man has died after a crane fell from a work site onto the M25 in Buckinghamshire.
It is thought that the victim may have fallen from the crane, he was reported dead at the scene, according to the BBC.
The incident happened around 09:29 this morning (Wednesday), with emergency services called to the scene on the anti-clockwise carriage between junctions 16 and 15.
One lane remains closed and it thought that it will stay closed "for some time".

UK Unemployment Falls
New figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) show that unemployment in the UK now stands at 5.7%, having fallen by 97,000 in the three months to December. This means the number of adults now in work stands at 73.2%. The figures also show an increase in average earnings with bonuses, up 2.1% compared to a year earlier.

Residents Evacuated After Crane Collapse
A 200ft crane has collapsed through the roof of a Liverpool city centre apartment block, forcing the evacuation of the building. The crash happened at 12.05pm in Tabley Street, behind Park Lane, on the outskirts of the city. It is understood the man driving the 100 tonne crane was thrown from the cab on impact. His condition is unknown.

Police shoot dead man outside Hull
Police have confirmed that they shot dead a man just outside Hull early this morning. The incident took place on the A63 near Welton in East Yorkshire. Humberside Police were called to the scene around 06:20 GMT, after receiving reports that a van was being driven the wrong way down the eastbound carriageway.
