Edinburgh Hotel Bodies Named
The bodies of a man and woman found at an Edinburgh hotel last week have been named as Igor Pavlov (27) and Daria Kuchuk (35).
The have been identified as a couple, orginally from Russia but had been living in Edinburgh.
Their bodies were discovered by staff at the Scotsman Hotel at around 12:15 last Thursday.
Responding to the call out at the hotel police had described the scene as a chemical incident. It has since been established that the pair took chemicals into the hotel room with them and their deaths were chemical-related.
It is understood that a number of items recovered from the room are still undergoing forensic analysis.
Police have said that the deaths remain "unexplained" and that the investigation is ongoing.

Two Arrested Over Cornwall Hotel Fire Deaths
Police investigating a fatal hotel blaze in Cornwall in which three people died have arrested two men. The men, aged 44 and 21, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and have been taken to a police station in Cornwall for questioning. The fire broke out at the Penhallow Hotel in Newquay on August 18 last year.

Bodies Found In Edinburgh Flat
Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the deaths of an elderly woman and a man whose bodies were discovered in a flat in Edinburgh. Police found the bodies - thought to be a mother and son - in the city's Dean Village, on Tuesday after they were alerted by a call from a member of the public.
