Boy Dies In London Stabbing
A 16-year-old boy has died after being stabbed in east London.
Two teenagers were found with knife wounds at about 21:50 on Monday evening in Spey Street, Poplar.
One of the teenagers, who has been named as Ajmol Alom, later died.
Relatives named the victim, however this is yet to be confirmed by Scotland Yard.
The second teenager, 16, is in hospital with non-life-threatening facial injuries.
A 19-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
Det Ch Insp Colette Smyth said: "We believe there were a number of people in the area at the time and we would appeal for any witnesses or anyone with information to please come forward.
"We are keeping an open mind about any possible motive at this stage."
The family of the deceased teenager has been notified.
A post-mortem examination will be held in due course, according to the Metropolitan Police.

Teenager Who Died In Brighton Cliff Fall Named As Nick Cave's Son
A 15-year-old boy who died after falling from a cliff in Brighton has been named as Arthur Cave, son of musician Nick Cave. It is understood that the teenager was found on the underpass of Ovingdean Gap at 18:00 on Tuesday suffering life threatening injuries. He died a short time later in hospital.

West Lothian Police investigating the discovery of a man's body on Wednesday night have arrested two 18-year-old men. Police say that the body of a 31-year-old was found at a house in Marmion Road in Bathgate at about 17:40 on Wednesday. The death is being treated as "unexplained". Police say the investigation is ongoing.

Government aim to educate teenagers away from crime
A new teaching resource aimed at helping educate teenagers away from crime was launched today by the Home Secretary, David Blunkett. The Watch Over Me II video is aimed at helping young people ensure their personal safety and covers a broad range of challenging issues including domestic violence, drugs, gun crime and forced marriage.

Fourteen teenagers bailed over boy's death
Fourteen teenagers have been released on bail after a 16-year-old boy was stabbed to death during a street fight in south London at the weekend. The teenager, who has been named as Ben Hitchcock, was stabbed to death in Beckenham just before midnight on Saturday. Police were called to the scene following reports of a gang fight in the area.
