Up To 300 Jobs Created By Mobile Phone Company
Mobile phone company EE has said it is to create some 300 jobs in south Wales and north east England.
Up to 200 customer services and sales jobs will be created in the firms' Merthyr Tydfil call centre, with the remaining 100 jobs being in Darlington and North Tyneside.
Also in south Wales, 15 apprenticeships are to be created in conjunction with College Merthyr Tydfil.
It is understood that recruitment for the positions will begin this month.

Almost 300 new jobs are to be created across south Wales by insurance firm Admiral. The company has announced it hopes to recruit 150 in Cardiff, 100 in Swansea and more than 30 in Newport, for positions in its contact centres, IT department and law firms.

Appeal For Information After Man Is Left Critical In Park Attack
South Wales Police are searching for a number of people in connection with a daytime attack on a 19-year-old man in a park in Cardiff. Police said the victim is in a critical condition in hospital following the attack, which happened on Monday at about 13:45 at Tremorfa park, Cardiff. It is understood the incident involved around 20 people.

A total of 70 news jobs are to be created in South Wales by packaging firm, Seda. The company, which manufactures a range of packaging for the food industry, is also safeguarding another 170 jobs at its Blackwood plant.

Two men have been charged with possession with intent to supply following the discovery of heroin in Merthyr Tydfil. South Wales Police seized heroin worth an estimated £40,000, while executing a search warrant at an address in Thomas Dyke, Penydarren.
