Teachers Consider Strike Action
Teachers in England could strike before Christmas in a dispute over pay, pensions and workloads, two of UKs largest teachers unions have warned.
The NUT and NASUWT have said that plans for industrial action "are in place" but not date has yet been set as they hope to enter talks with the government.
The dispute is over reforms to be introduced in October, which will see pay linked to performance and salaries set by individual schools.
The government has said that any industrial action would be disruptive to pupils' education.
