Chinese Investment Group Want To Rebuild The Crystal Palace
A Chinese investment group have unveiled plans to build a replica of the Crystal Palace on the same site as the old building, which burnt down in 1936.
The original Crystal Palace was built in 1851 in Hyde Park, before being moved to the Crystal Palaca in 1854.
Now the ZhongRong Group want to build a new cultural attract and restore the park surrounding the site in Bromley.
It is claimed that the project could create up to 2,000 permanent and temporary jobs and attract wider investment into the area.
The proposal was announced today at an event held by Boris Johnson and Bromley Conucil.

TV reporter sentenced for harassment
A TV reporter found guilty of bombarding Crystal Palace Chairman Simon Jordon with text messages and phone calls has been given a suspended jail sentence. 35-year-old Tara Stout sent Jordon underwear, love letters and would call and text him up to 200 times per day. She also sent him the bills for shopping trips after they met in March last year.

Crystal Palace boss wins court battle
Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has won a claim for £1 million in damages against the club's former manager Ian Dowie. Mr Jordan launched the legal battle after he alleged that Mr Dowie had lied when he negotiated his way out of his contract last May and became manager of Premiership club Charlton.
