Govt Deny Any Move On Energy Companies
Reports that the government were seeking an agreement from the UK's energy companies to hold prices until 2015 have been denied.
A report by the BBC claimed they had been informed by the companies the government had asked for prices to be held as long as there was no significant shift in global wholesale prices.
However, a new report denies that Ministers had made any such request of the energy providers, describing the original story as "utterly misleading".
