British Woman Jailed For 14 Years In Indonesia
A 43-year-old British woman has been jailed for 14 years in Indonesia after being found guilty of smuggling crystal methamphetamine.
Andrea Waldeck, from Gloucestershire, was arrested at a hotel in East Java in April 2013.
Facing a possible death sentence, Waldeck claimed that she had been the "victim" of a drugs gang. During the trial, her lawyers said she had been coerced into carrying 1.4kg (3lb) of crystal meth from China.
The former police support officer was also fined £100,000.

A British man kidnapped in Indonesia on Tuesday has returned to his family. 61-year-old Malcolm Primrose was seized in the north Sumatran province of Aceh. Mr Primrose worked for oil company Medco E&P, who are reported to have expressed their "deepest gratitude" to local authorities who helped recover Mr Primrose.
