ASA Reverse Ban On Cycling Scotland Ad
The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has lifted a ban it had imposed on a Cycling Scotland television ad, calling its original decision "flawed".
The ASA had previously ruled that a scene in the ad showing a cyclist riding without a helmet was "socially irresponsible".
Cycling Scotland highlighted that wearing a helmet was not a legal requirement and welcomed the news that the ban had been lifted.
