Body Of British Man Found On French Beach
French authorities have reported they have recovered the body of a British man on the coast of Cote d'Azur.
It is believed the man was found washed up on a beach near the village of Eze on Saturday (28 March).
Officials said the man was wearing cycling clothing and a bike was found near the scene. The Foreign Office is liaising with French officials and are offering full consular assistance.

Police Appeal For Help Identifying Man Found Dead In Kayak
Police on the Isle of Wight are trying to identify a man found dead in a kayak earlier this month. The man's body was found at Yaverland Beach, Sandown, at about 19:20 on Friday, 11 September. It is understood that he was last seen alive in Newhaven, Sussex.

Customs Officers Seize 500,000 Smuggled Cigarettes
Customs officers have discovered 500,000 allegedly smuggled cigarettes and hundreds of counterfeit watches intended for sale in the UK. The items, worth £100,000 in duty alone, were seized in Bridgend on Tuesday at a storage facility near the town centre. HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) also found £6,000 cash in a vehicle.

Man's Body Found On Brighton Beach
A man's body has been found on Brighton beach. It is understood the discovery was made by a member of the public at around 9.25am on Sunday. A section of the beach was cordoned off to allow emergency services to attend the scene and recover the body. Police have said it is too early to establish how the man died, or if his death is suspicious.

Mystery deepens over ‘Piano Man’
The investigation into the identity of the ‘Piano Man’ is continuing today. The National Missing Persons Helpline confirmed that they have received hundreds of calls and e-mails offering suggestions of who the mysterious man might be, but the identity of the man remains unknown.
