Student In Court Accused Of Facilitating Terrorism
A 20-year-old man has appeared in court charged with terrorist offences.
Mouloud Tahari, from Birmingham, is accused of facilitating terrorism overseas.
He was remanded in custody by Westminster Magistrates' and is expected to appear at the Old Bailey on 14 March.
Two others who had been detained by the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit remain in custody. Tahari's mother, Gerrie Tahari, and former Guantanamo Bay detainee Moazzam Begg, have been charged in connection with the investigation and were also remanded in custody.
Prunella Scales 'Has Mild Alzheimer's'
Prunella Scales is suffering from "a sort of mild Alzheimer's", her husband Timothy West has revealed.
The actor, 79, made the revelation in an interview with the Radio Times.
The couple, who have an upcoming programme on More 4 called and Pru's Slow Boat, West admits that his 81-year-old wife "can't remember things very well."
Dr Alison Cook of the Alzheimer's Society, said: "Alzheimer's Society would like to thank Timothy West for speaking out about his wife Prunella Scales' dementia and raising awareness of the condition."
Bus Left Trapped In Hole In Road
A bus has become trapped in Weston-Super-Mare after a hole developed in the road.
The vehicle was travelling along the Milton Road when the incident occurred.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said a burst water-remain was to blame for the collapse.
A spokesman for First Bus added that while there were passengers on board at the time, no one was injured.

A murder investigation has been launched after a man was stabbed in West Ruislip. Police were called to High Road, Ickenham at 17:35hrs on Monday, 9 November, following reports of a stabbing. An 18-year-old man was treated at the scene before being taken to a west London hospital where he later died. Next of kin have been informed.

A man has been jailed after pleading guilty to killing his father, police have revealed. David West Jnr, 45, of Jermyn Street, was jailed for 13-and-a-half years after he stabbed his 70-year-old father, David West Snr. It is understood David West Jnr attacked his father as he lay drunk outside his home.

The Tube link to Heathrow airport has been closed after a teenager was killed at a west London station last night. British Transport Police and the Metropolitan Police were called in to Hounslow West Underground station late last night after an 18-year-old man was stabbed during a fight involving up to eight people.

West Lothian Police investigating the discovery of a man's body on Wednesday night have arrested two 18-year-old men. Police say that the body of a 31-year-old was found at a house in Marmion Road in Bathgate at about 17:40 on Wednesday. The death is being treated as "unexplained". Police say the investigation is ongoing.
