Police Launch Murder Investigation
A murder investigation has been launched following a domestic-related incident in Huddersfield earlier this week, West Yorkshire Police has confirmed.
On Sunday, a 37-year-old woman, now formally identified as Emma Siswick, was found at a property on Reinwood Road suffering from a serious stab wound. She was taken to hospital but later died from her injuries.
An 11-year-old and a nine-year-old boy were also found at the property suffering from stab wounds. They both remain in hospital with serious injuries.
Police have said a man, aged 39, who was detained by officers, also remains in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Anyone with information or who witnessed the incident is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
Arrests Made Following Street Fight
Sussez Police has said arrests have been made after a fight broke out in a street in Brighton.
At around 4am on Sunday (18 May), three men were walking north in North Street, Brighton, when they came across a fourth man. He is understood to be known to one of the group.
A fight then broke out during which a knife and bottle were used.
All men dispersed from the scene but two, aged 20 and 35, and who are believed to be involved were arrested nearby on suspicion of affray.
The 20-year old was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article, while the 35-year old received hospital treatment for facial cuts he sustained.
The two were interviewed by police and released until 15 and 16 July.
Car Damaged In Attack
An appeal has been launched by Lincolnshire Police for witnesses to an incident of criminal damage in Louth.
The incident occurred between 1am and 3am on Saturday (17 May) in Newmarket, Louth, outside the medical practice.
It is thought a group of three males were in the vicinity when one of them has climbed on a car causing damage to the windscreen and bonnet.

MoJ Reveal Drone Used In Prison Smuggle Attempt

Seven-year-old stabs neighbour
A seven-year-old has stabbed a woman several times following an argument at a neighbours home. The woman had been in an argument with the boy's mother when he stabbed her in the arm, leg and buttock. The victim was treated in hospital for serious, though not life threatening injuries.

Police Make Arrests After Gun Incident
Detectives from Trident are investigating after two men were arrested after allegedly aiming a firearm at police officers and two member of the public. It is said to have happened at around 3pm on Tuesday when plain clothes officers on routine patrol stopped a grey Vauxhall Astra outside West Hampstead tube station, West End Lane.

Teenager questioned over fatal stabbing
A teenager is being questioned in connection with the stabbing of a 16-year-old Tyneside boy. Police are investigating the murder of Mark Smith, 16, from St John's Walk, Newcastle, who was stabbed and later died in hospital.
