One Of Two Absconded Prisoners Found
Anthony Peloe, 43, one of the two men who absconded from Thorn Cross open prison in Warrington, Cheshire, at about 10.30am on Tuesday has been found, according to the Cheshire Police.
The criminal, who was convicted of possessing firearms in 2005, has been detained and is in custody while John Arnold, who he escaped with, has not yet been found.
Police are still appealing for information as to the whereabouts of Arnold.
At around 21.30 on Wednesday evening, Merseyside Police made contact with Cheshire to advise that Anthony Peloe had been sighted and arrested at an address on Tarbock Road, Speke.
Arnold is described as white, about 5ft 11, slim, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Man Questioned Over Paris Hotel Death
Police are continuing to question a 39-year-old man in relation to the death of a Polish millionairess who was found beaten to death at a Paris hotel room. The man was arrested on Monday morning in woodland near Macclesfield, Cheshire. It is understood he had been living rough in a tent in the woodland.

Money stolen in Securitas van raid
Police have launched an investigation after a Securitas van was robbed by a gang in Cheshire last night. The robbery happened in the Woolston area of Warrington on Wednesday night around 8:15pm. A Securitas security van, on route to a delivery, had been travelling behind a Volvo flatbed truck.

British Transport Police investigating the death of a woman have said that she may have been trying to save a dog when she was hit by a train. The 22-year-old woman was struck by a train close to Ainsdale station near Southport, Merseyside at about 15:00 on Wednesday. Transport police said a dog was also found dead at the scene.
