Debris Found In Cheeki Rafiki Search
Debris has been found in the Atlantic Ocean near where UK yacht Cheeki Rafiki disappeared.
It was discovered by catamaran Malisi, which is one of the volunteer crews taking part in the search.
Skipper Patrick Michael said a crew member saw a wooden plank that could be a washboard or floor board and passed the details onto the US Coast Guard.
The 40ft Cheeki Rafiki, based in Southampton, was sailing back to the UK from Antigua when it went missing with its four crew members: Paul Goslin, 56, from Somerset; Andrew Bridge, 22, from Farnham; Steve Warren, 52, from Bridgwater; and 22-year-old James Male, from Romsey.
Some of the relatives of the missing men are due to meet officials at the Foreign Office and the US Embassy on Thursday.
