Jimmy Savile Abused At Least 500 People - Report
A report by the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) has found at least 500 reports of abuse by the former BBC presenter Jimmy Savile.
His victims are reported to be between 13 and 15 years-old, however the youngest was only two.
The NSPCC inquiry commissioned for BBC Panorama also found a huge influence of Savile at the Broadmoor psychiatric hospital.
The children's charity said it received over 50 reports of abuse by Savile since it began the report with the Met Police published in January 2013.
The Department of Health and the BBC are due to publish reports into Savile later this year.
The earliest reported incident dated back to the mid-1940s, with the most recent in 2007.
The director of child protection at the NSPCC Peter Watt said: "There's no doubt that Savile is one of the most, if not the most, prolific sex offender that we at the NSPCC have ever come across."
