Man Dies After Gardening Accident
South Wales Police have reported the death of a 67-year-old man in a gardening accident.
Peter Davies, of Merthyr Tydfil, is understood to have fallen 20ft onto a spiked railings while chopping branches from a fir tree in his garden.
Mr Davies was found by his 80-year-old neighbour, who police say fought to try and save his life before paramedics arrived.
He was taken to hospital by air ambulance but died a short time later of severe blood loss.
Police say that the death is being treated as a "tragic accident".

Driver Arrested After Car Crashes Into Train At Level Crossing
An investigation has been launched into an incident in which a car collided with a train in Berkshire. British Transport Police have confirmed a car crashed into a train at a level crossing at Datchet in Berkshire at about 06:05 this morning. Aircraft Causes Delays At Stansted Airport
Flights arriving at Stansted Airport have faced delays after landing equipment was damaged by an incoming flight. It is understood a Gulfstream G550 jet damaged a section of the airport's instrument landing system (ILS), but was able to land safely.

Two Killed In Light Aircraft Crash
A pilot and a passenger have died in a light aircraft crash near Wymeswold in Leicester, police have confirmed. Police were called by the ambulance service at 7.55pm last night. Officers are working in conjunction with the Air Accident Investigations Branch (AAIB) to investigate the cause of the crash.

A fatal accident inquiry has concluded that a faulty cot was to blame for the death of a six-month-old baby in Fife. In July 2009 Ainslie Smith died when fell into a gap between his mattress and the side slats of his Cosatto Stratford cot. A post-mortem examination revealed Ainslie had been unable to breathe because his airway was obstructed.

First Cork Plane Crash Victims Buried
The funerals of two of the Northern Ireland victims of the Cork air crash are due to be held later today. Pat Cullinan, a 45-year-old senior partner with the international accountancy firm KPMG, is to be buried after requiem mass in St Patrick's Church in the village of Cranagh near Plumbridge in Co Tyrone.
