Musician Trevor Ward-Davies Dies Aged 70
Musician Trevor Ward-Davies, founding member and bass player of Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick and Tich, has died at the age of 70.
Better known as Dozy, Mr Ward-Davies helped found the 60s pop group, which spent more weeks in the UK singles charts than the Beatles.
It is understood Mr Ward-Davies died in hospital on Tuesday following a short illness.

Poor Numeracy Reaches Record High
The number of adults with poor numeracy skills has reached 17 million in England alone – very nearly half the working-age population. The figure has increased by nearly two million over the last eight years (from 47% to 49%) and is a disturbing indictment of national attitudes to numeracy, according to new charity National Numeracy.

Founding Pink Floyd guitarist dies aged 60
Syd Barrett, one of the founding members of British rock group Pink Floyd, has died aged 60, a spokesperson for the band has today revealed. Syd Barrett, met band members Dave Gilmour and Roger Waters, in school in Cambridge, and formed Pink Floyd in 1965. Barrett was regarded as one of the most highly acclaimed songwriters at the time.

Six Arrested Over Nottingham Street Brawl Death
Police investigating the death of a 19-year-old man in Nottingham have arrested six people. Joshua Bradley, of Bulwell, died following a suspected street fight in Thurland Street, on 08 February. Two men, aged 21 and 19, have been arrested on suspicion of murder.
