Fire Breaks Out On EastEnders Set
Firefighters were called to deal with a fire on the set of BBC soap opera EastEnders on Tuesday night.
It is understood that the fire was discovered at about 23:00 last night shortly after filming of "live inserts" for its 30th anniversary celebrations were completed.
Reports suggest a firework may have started the fire in one of the buildings on the set.
A spokeswoman for the soap said: "There was a very small fire on set on Tuesday night after rehearsals had finished.
"It has not affected any #EELive week plans and nobody was harmed," she added.
The show is broadcasting live inserts in all of its episodes this week, and will screen a full live episode on Friday to celebrate its anniversary.

Heroic Tyne Firemen Honoured
Two Tyne and Wear firefighters are to be recognised for their bravery at a special ceremony today. Andrew Nelson and Allan Richardson will be presented with the Chief Fire Officer's Commendations for brave and meritorious conduct after saving a man's life. The men took part in a dramatic rescue in the early hours of 4 February.

Firefighters launch four-day strike
More than 1,000 firefighters across Merseyside have begun a four-day strike in protest over planned job cuts. Another four-day stoppage is scheduled to begin two hours after the first one ends.

The first set was suspended due to rain at 3-5 with Moya fighting his way back into the first set after a comfortable looking start for a confident looking Tim Henman. Suspicious Glasgow Car Fires
Detectives in Glasgow's East End are investigating a spate of vehicle fire attacks in the city yesterday. Shortly after 3.30am police were called to a report of a vehicle fire in Ashvale Crescent, Glasgow. Upon arrival police were advised by Strathclyde Fire Service that four vehicles had been damaged by fire.
