Great Train Robber Items Sold At Auction
Items used by and belonging to the Great Train Robbers have been sold at auction, raising a total of around £20,000.
The sale included Monopoly money from a game set used by the robbers as they hid out following the infamous heist. The toy money made more than £400 at J P Humbert Auctioneers in Towcester, Northamptonshire.
A watch worn by Ronnie Biggs during the 1963 raid went for £900, while a £1 note taken by the robbers fetched £750.
Reward Offered In Manchester Rapper Murder Investigation
A reward has been offered for information leading to the conviction in the murder of Dale Gordon.
Mr Gordon, a rapper from Manchester known as Deezy, died from injuries sustained in a fight in Netherbury Close, Gorton, on 15 November.
Two men have been arrested in connection with the case, but a reward of £25,000 has now been offered in a bid to catch those responsible for Mr Gordon's death.
Police Excavating Land in West Midlands
West Midlands Police are carrying out excavation of land at an industrial estate near Ricoh Arena.
It is understood the dig is not being carried in connection with any ongoing investigation, but police said they were acting on "information recently received from a member of the public".
According to reports, police have been digging at the site for three days.

Reward Offered In 1994 Murder Investigation
A £20,000 reward is being offered in a new bid to solve the 1994 murder of 23-year-old Julie Finley. Ms Finley went missing in Liverpool city centre on 05 August, 1994. Her naked body was found the following day in a carrot field near Wheatsheaf Hotel in Rainford, St Helens. She had been strangled.
