Reward Offered In 1994 Murder Investigation
A £20,000 reward is being offered in a new bid to solve the 1994 murder of 23-year-old Julie Finley.
Ms Finley went missing in Liverpool city centre on 05 August, 1994. Her naked body was found the following day in a carrot field near Wheatsheaf Hotel in Rainford, St Helens. She had been strangled.
The award is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
Police say they are extremely keen to speak with a friend of Julie's who had contacted the investigation team shortly after the murder.
Giving her name as Tina, she gave police information about Julie's movement's on the night of her disappearance, promising to call officers back, but she never did.

New appeal in Julie Finley murder case

Twenty-three-year-old Julie was last seen alive on August 5 1994 in Crown Street, Liverpool city centre near to the rear of the Royal University Hospital.

A £100,000 reward is being offered by detectives hunting the killer of Doreen Morris, who was murdered at her home in Holyhead in 1994. Last Thursday marked the sixteenth anniversary of the death of the 64-year-old woman, whose badly burnt remains were discovered at her home Penrhyn Uchaf on Mill Lane.

16-Year-Old On Trial For Steel Comb Murder
A teenage girl has gone on trial at the Old Bailey for killing a 16-year-old, who died after she was stabbed in the head with a steel Afro comb. The defendant, who is also 16 and cannot be named for legal reasons, denies murdering Julie Sheriff, who died on 21 September last year.
