FA Charge Cisse And Evans Over Spitting Incident
The Football Association (FA) has charged Newcastle United's Papiss Cisse and Manchester United's Jonny Evans over a spitting incident during a match on Wednesday 4 March.
The charges are in relation to an alleged breach of FA Rule in that in or around the 38th minute of the game the two players spat at each other.
Both players have until 6pm today, Friday, to respond to the charge.

A £37m funding boost is designed to improve the provision of charging points for electric vehicles in England, the government has announced. Announcing the funding Transport Secretary Patrick McLoughlin said ministers were committed to ensuring that the UK was a "world leader in the electric car industry".

The Office of Fair trading (OFT) today launched a consultation on draft guidance for businesses engaged in second charge lending. Second charge loans, or 'homeowner loans', involve consumers with an existing mortgage taking out further personal borrowing secured against their home.

Police continue to question Madeleine suspect
Police are continuing to re-interview the only official suspect in the case of the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. Robert Murat returned to Policia Judiciara headquarters in Portimao on Wednesday morning for a second day of questioning over the four-year-old's disappearance.

London's congestion charge zone increases
Despite criticism, London's congestion charge zone has been virtually doubled in size. The zone, which costs £8 a day to enter, includes Bayswater, Chelsea Kensington, Knightsbridge, and Notting Hill. London Mayor Ken Livingstone hopes that the tariff will help reduce traffic in the newly expanded zone by up to 15%.

Ferdinand will not face Turkey after missing drugs test
England defender Rio Ferdinand will miss his country's crucial European Championship qualifier against Turkey this Saturday after he missed a random drugs test. Ferdinand was one of four players due to be tested at Manchester United's training ground, however, he did not provide a sample until more than 24 hours later.
