Police Probe Link Between Tools And Jewel Thefts
Police are investigating a possible link between the theft of power tools and a raid on the Hatton Garden Safe Deposit vault earlier this month.
It is understood that police are looking into the theft of Hilti DD350 drills in December in Fetter Lane, which are believed to be the same model as the drills used in the Hatton Garden raid of 02 April.
City of London Police investigated the original tool theft and are understood to have passed the information on the case on to the Met.

Hatton Garden Raid Scene 'Chaotic'
Police investigating the raid on Hatton Garden Safety Deposit in London have described the scene as "chaotic". It is now known that thieves used a communal lift shaft to gain entry to the basement of the building in London's jewellery district, which housed the safety deposit boxes.

Two More Charged Over Hatton Garden Robbery
The Metropolitan Police have charged two people in connection with the Hatton Garden safety deposit box raid in April. Brenn Walters, aka Ben Perkins, 43, and 35-year-old Terri Robinson have been charged in connection with the robbery and are due to appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court on 27 August.

Met Officers Make Stolen Jewellery Bust
Camden Police have seized jewellery estimated to be worth tens of thousands of pounds in raids from outlets in the Hatton Garden area on Wednesday, 3 October. Over 50 officers were involved in the raids, executing warrants at seven businesses believed to have been involved in handling stolen goods.
