Two More Charged Over Hatton Garden Robbery

The Metropolitan Police have charged two people in connection with the Hatton Garden safety deposit box raid in April.

Brenn Walters, aka Ben Perkins, 43, and 35-year-old Terri Robinson have been charged in connection with the robbery and are due to appear before Westminster Magistrates' Court on 27 August.

Walters, of Manor Court, Enfield, was arrested on 19 May.

Robinson, of Sterling Road, Enfield, was arrested on 14 June.

Both are charged with Section 327 of the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002

A further nine people previously charged in connection with the investigation appeared at Southwark Crown on 4 June and were remanded in custody to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on 4 September.

Former surgeon charged with triple manslaughter
Mr Steven Walker, 46, a surgeon reportedly struck off by the BMA for professional misconduct, has been charged in Blackpool with three counts of manslaughter. The charges, relating to the deaths of Margaret Wilson, 63, Dorothy McPhee, 71, and Jean Robinson, 66, all from the Blackpool area, were delivered at a Blackpool police station.

23 Charged With Drug Offences Following Raids
More than 20 people have been charged with drug offences following a number of raids carried out in London, Gravesend, Dover and Deal. A total of 23 people were arrested during twenty raids carried out over three days. The suspects, ranging in age from 17 to 52, have all been charged in connection with the supply of class A drugs.

Gunman's Ashes Scattered Near Rothbury
The ashes of 'fugitive' gunman Raoul Moat have been scattered by his family near the spot where he took his own life. Moat died on July 10 in Rothbury following a six-hour stand-off with police. He had been on the run after shooting his former girlfriend, killing her new boyfriend and shooting a police officer.

Man To Appear In Court Charged With Rape In Milton Keynes
A 27-year-old man is to appear in court today, 2 March, charged in connection with a rape in Eaglestone, Milton Keynes, last month. Cristinel Hutanasu, of Pemberton Drive in Bradford, Yorkshire, was arrested and charged with two counts of rape and one count of robbery.

Three more remanded over 'bomb plot' charges
Three more men have appeared in court charged in connection with an alleged plot to blow up transatlantic flights. Mohammed Sahmin Uddin, 35, Mohammed Yasar Gulzar, 25, and Nabeel Hussain, 22, were charged with conspiracy to murder and preparing acts of terrorism. They were remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on September 4.
