Toddler Dies After Colliding With Car In Derby
An 18 month old girl has been killed following a collision with a car in Derby.
The incident occurred on Chartley Road, off of the Stenson Road.
Emergency services attended the scene at 10.10am on 7 May.
The child was taken to Derby Royal Hospital where she was pronounced dead.
A 29 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving.

Man Charged With Son's Murder
A man is due to appear in court charged with the murder of his son. Police were called after the seven-month-old boy was taken into the Royal Derby Hospital on Tuesday. The boy from Waterford Drive, Derbyshire, was transferred to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, where he died on Wednesday night.

The father of six children who died in a house fire has denied starting the blaze at the families Derby home last May. 56-year-old Mick Philpott denies any involvement but has told a court he has suspicions about who started the fire. He alleges that he and his children had received death threats after the family appeared on ITV's Jeremy Kyle Show.

Man Arrested Over School Nail Bomb Attack
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing a nail bomb blast outside a school in Merseyside. The blast happened at Runnymede St Edwards school in West Derby last Friday, as pupils were leaving school for the weekend. The nail bomb had been left in a Nissan Micra belonging to a teacher at the school. No one was injured in the incident.

Appeal Following Fatal Crash In Rotherham
Police are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in the Maltby area of Rotherham. A silver Rover 45 and a silver Mercedes estate car were involved in a head-on collision on the A631 Tickhill Road at Maltby on Sunday 17 May. The driver of the Rover, an 88-year-old man, was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
