Jobless Rate At Lowest Since 2008
Unemployment in the UK has fallen by 43,000 to 1.81 million, while wages have hit a four-year high, according to new figures from the Office Of National Statistics (ONS).
The figures show that the jobless rate is now at its lowest level since August 2008.
They also reveal that wages have grown at their fastest rate since August 2011, rising 2.7%.

Inflation Drops To 0% In August
Inflation fell to 0% in August, new figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) have revealed. The UK's national inflation rate fell from 0.1% in July, as measured by the Consumer Price Index. The ONS figures also show that the Retail Prices Index (RPI) rose from 1.0% in July to 1.1% in August.

ONS Figures Show Further Fall In UK Inflation Rate
New figures from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) have revealed that the annual rate of inflation, measured as the Consumer Price Index (CPI), fell in August to 1.5%. The news means that the Bank of England will not be under pressure to increase interest rates, as the CPI remains below its target of 2%.
