Man Found At Cemetery Dies In Hospital
Police Scotland have reported that a man found "covered in blood" at Greenock Cemetery has died.
The 56-year-old man was found with a serious head injury at about 8pm on Thursday. He was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital, where he died today 31 July.
Police renewed an appeal for anyone with information on how the man sustained the injuries to contact them.
Festival Drug Death Investigated
An investigation has been launched into the death of an 18-year-old man at the Kendall Calling music festival in Cumbria.
Police have said that the man's death has been connected to three different types of tablets. Four other people are understood to have taken ill at the event.
Cumbria Police have arrested a 20-year-old man on suspicion of intent to supply.
More Than £230,000 Donated To Cecil The Lion Research Group
More than £230,000 has been donated to WildCRU since the death of Cecil the Lion, Oxford University has reported.
The conservation unit within the university's Department of Zoology had been satellite-tracking the famous lion since 2008.
Cecil was lured from a reserve and killed by an American dentist on a hunting trip.
The group said that the money would fund their research for at least 18 months and would allow the to study the effect of Cecil's death on the surviving lions in his pride, including his cubs.

A 30-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of a three-year-old girl. The toddler was brought to hospital on Friday but died in the early hours of Saturday morning. A South Yorkshire Police spokesman said: "A 30-year-old man from Beck Road, Shiregreen, has been arrested on suspicion of murder and inquiries are continuing.

Wanted Man Arrested In London
The man wanted in connection with the murder of a 66-year-old man who intervened during a robbery, has been arrested. Ian John McLoughlin, 55, was arrested in London at around 01:00. He was wanted on suspicion of murder and robbery. Airports and ports had been put on alert as police hinted for McLoughlin.

Three Charged Over 2012 Death Of Man In Police Custody
A police officer and two civilian police employees have been charged with manslaughter in connection with the death of Thomas Orchard, who died a week after collapsing while in police custody. Mr Orchard (32) was arrested on suspicion of a public order offence on 03 October 2012 and taken to Heavitree Road Police Station in Exeter.
