Investigation Launched After Death Of Woman Following Bus Fall
A woman has died in hospital after falling on a route E3 bus on Chiswick High Road, just after 13:30 on Tuesday, 18 August.
The 77-year-old woman was taken to hospital by ambulance, where she was pronounced dead shortly before 17:00.
Detectives from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Merton are carrying out enquiries into the circumstances of the incident.
The driver of the bus is assisting police.
There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information about the incident is asked the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 020 8543 5157.

OAP Charged After Knife Attack
An 85-year-old man has been charged after an elderly woman was stabbed in Edinburgh yesterday. Bendicta McLean, 74, was taken to the Edinburgh Royal Infirmary with a chest wound, after the incident happened in Clermiston Road, Corstorphine, at around 1pm. Lothian and Borders Police have said she is in a stable condition in hospital.

Disabled Woman Found Dead In Car
A disabled woman found stabbed to death in her car near her home in Harlow, Essex, has been named. Jennifer Macaree was discovered in Hadley Grange on the outskirts of Harlow early on Saturday. Essex Police confirmed she was in the driver's seat of her black Vauxhall Corsa in a parking area near her flat shortly after 3am.

A woman was killed this morning in an accident involving a London bus while a separate investigation has been launched into the death of a GCSE student who has been knocked down by a police patrol car in Newcastle. The first fatal incident occurred last night as the Northumbria Police marked car was believed to be hunting for a stolen vehicle.
