Body Found In Epping Forest
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of a body in Epping Forest
Police said that the body was uncovered on Wednesday evening, and that the death is being treated as "unexplained".
Detectives are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed anything suspicious in the Hollow Ponds area over the last few weeks to come forward.
LFB Issued Warning After Man Burned In Drain Cleaner Spill
London Fire Brigade has warned people to be careful when using drain cleaner after a man received burns after spilling the chemical in a Richmond home.
Around one litre of drain cleaner was spilt in a first floor bathroom. A man was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service crews.
Richmond Watch Manager Neil Caswell said: "It appears the drain cleaner was accidental spilt while the occupiers were cleaning the bathroom. We’d ask people to be extremely careful when using drain cleaners especially strong industrial strength ones.
"Crews wearing breathing apparatus diluted the chemical product and ventilated the property."
Police Searching For Escaped Python
North Wales Police are searching for an escaped python in Gwersylt, Wrexham.
The green and black royal python, which measures about 4ft in length, has not been seen since 15:00 on Tuesday.
The snake is not venomous and police said that it is most likely to avoid people.

An asylum seeker convicted of stabbing a policeman to death has been jailed for life. Nigerian Ikechukwu Tennyson Obih, 29, stabbed Bedfordshire policeman Jon Henry twice in the chest in Luton on June 11, 2007 as he tried to arrest him. He was told he must serve at least 25 years.

Judges in blackmail case face investigation
Two judges involved in a blackmail trial are to face an investigation by the Office for Judicial Complaints. Immigration judges Mohammed Ilyas Khan, 60, and his female colleague - known only as J - will not be allowed to sit while the investigation takes place. The move follows a trial involving Brazilian cleaner Roselane Driza.

Some 100 riot police have been deployed in central London as protestors take to the streets to demonstrate ahead on the G8 summit being held in Northern Ireland next week. Officers were sent to Soho, where protesters are thought to have occupied a former police station on Beak Street.

A three-year-old girl has escaped serious injury after being swept 150ft along an underground storm drain in Co Durham. The toddler was playing with her father and family dog in a deep puddle at a playground in Riverside Park, Chester-le-Street, when the accident happened.
