Missing 12-Year-Old Found 'Safe And Well'
Police have reported that 12-year-old Amalia Vairo, who was reported missing on Tuesday, has been found "safe and well".
Police had issued an appeal for help in tracing Amalia yesterday.
Police have thanked the public for the help in their search.
Appeal Issued For Missing 16-Year-Old
Northumbria Police have appealed for help in tracing 16-year-old Robbie Michael Ward.
The teenager, from Linden Road in Blaydon, has been missing since 11 September.
Robbie is of slim build and is around 5ft 9ins tall. He has short brown hair and was last seen wearing a blue and white Adidas hooded top, blue tracksuit bottoms and trainers.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate him and anyone with any information as to his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101 ext 69191.
Council Consider DNA Sampling Dogs To Cut Dog Mess
Flintshire Council has voted in favour of establishing a DNA database of dogs, in an effort to catch owners who fail to clean up after their pets.
A task group is to be set up to explore establishing a system for collecting DNA samples from the areas pets, which could then be used to compare with swabs from dog mess left in public areas.
In successful matches, owners could then be fined up to £75.

Woman Dies After Dog Attack
A 27-year-old woman has died after being attacked by dogs. Emma Bennett died on Tuesday night after suffering from serious bite injuries in an incident at a house in Dawlish Avenue, Leeds. The attack, which happened on Monday afternoon (9 December), is reported to have occurred while the woman was suffering an epileptic seizure.

Two people have been injured after they were attacked by a dog in Mid-Staffordshire. A three-year-old boy and his grandmother were injured in the incident, which occurred at a family farm in Mid-Staffordshire on Wednesday evening.

Owners To Face Longer Sentences Over Dog Attacks
Irresponsible dog owners who allow their dog to attack people or assistance dogs will face tougher prison sentences from today, Tuesday. Changes to the Dangerous Dogs Act will also mean dog owners can now face prosecution if their dog attacks a person in their home or on any private property, except if they attack a trespasser.

Two Bailed After Baby Dies In Dog Attack
The 11-month-old baby who died after being mauled by a pet dog at a house in Lancashire has been named as Ava-Jayne Marie Corless. The girl died at Royal Blackburn Hospital a short time after the attack on Monday night. She had been asleep upstairs in a house on Emily Street in Blackburn when she was attacked.

Second Body Found In River In Wrexham
Police investigating the death of a woman whose body was found next to a river have discovered a second body in the water. A worker found the 27-year-old woman's body shortly after 17:00 on Wednesday near Felin Puleston at the River Clywedog, Wrexham after seeing dogs sitting alone next to a car.
