Escaped Bullock Closes M5 Motorway
An escaped bullock shut down the M5 motorway in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
It is understood that the escaped animal was on the motorway at about 5am on the M5 northbound between junctions 28 and 27 near Cullompton in Devon.
The motorway was closed while the beast was cleared from the road.
Highways England later tweeted: "The errant bullock has been escorted to his home off the motorway. Thank you for your patience."
Four Injured In Prison Van Crash
A prisoner and three security guards have been injured when a prisoner transport van overturned in Cortes, Aberdeenshire.
It is understood none of the four were seriously injured, but were taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
Willie Galloway, head of operations for G4S court escorting, said: "One of our vehicles travelling between Fraserburgh police custody unit and Aberdeen Sheriff Court was involved in an incident on the A952 this morning just after 08:30.
"We do not believe that anyone has sustained serious injuries."
Woman Pleads Guilty To Racist Bus Incident
A 36-year-old woman has pleaded guilty to a racist incident on a public bus in Brent on 13 October.
Simone Joseph, of Brent, pleaded guilty to causing racially/religiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress, contrary to section 31(1)(b) and (4) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
She will appear at Hendon Magistrates' Court on Friday 13, November for sentencing.

M5 Closed After Shots Fired At Police Car
Parts of the M5 in Gloucester were closed on Friday morning after shots were fired at a police car in the early hours of the morning. The incident happened around 4:10am as police made a routine check of a blue L-reg Series 3 BMW, which was parked in a layby near Blooms Garden Centre on the B4008, just off junction 12 of the M5 near Gloucester.

A 15-year-old boy has been found guilty of the murder of a young woman who was killed for dressing like a Goth. Brendan Harris was found guilty of the murder of Sophie Lancaster, 20, in Stubbylee Park in Bacup, Lancashire, last August.

One Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash On M1
One person has died following a multi-vehicle collision on the M1 in Bedfordshire, police have reported. Police say that five cars and a motorcycle have been involved in a crash on the northbound motorway between junction 11 for Luton and junction 12 for Flitwick. The crash happened at about 05:30, police said.
