Renewed Appeal After Woman Carjacked In Manchester
Police have renewed their appeal for witnesses after a woman was carjacked in Manchester city centre.
The incident happened on Wednesday 23 September at around 8.50pm.
A 27-year-old woman was sat alone in her black Peugeot 108 car on Store Street car park, as she waited for her boyfriend to arrive at Piccadilly train station.
A man approached the car, opened the drive'’s door and tried to take the woman's keys.
The woman fought the man off and started screaming, but he put his hand over her mouth, pulled her out of the vehicle and then made off in the car towards Great Ancoats Street.
The car was found on Regent Street in Newton Heath at around midnight on Monday, 26 October 2015.
The woman was not injured.
Police are appealing to anyone who saw the car being abandoned to contact them.
Armed Men Rob Supermarket In West Derby
Three men, believed to have been armed with screwdrivers and a hammer, have robbed a supermarket in west Derby.
The men who had their faces covered entered the Tesco store on Honeys Green Precinct at around 10.50pm on Thursday.
The thugs forced the staff into an office before stealing two till trays containing a sum of cash and the CCTV hard drive and made off on foot.
No-one was injured during the incident, however the staff members were left shaken.
Detective Inspector Colin Rennison said: "We would appeal to anyone who was in the vicinity of the shop last night and may have seen anyone acting suspiciously to get in touch with us."
Man Charged After Body Discovered In South Gloucestershire
A man has been charged with preventing a lawful burial following the discovery of a body in South Gloucestershire.
Police launched an investigation after a man's body was found in a yard behind a former gym in Gloucester Road, Patchway, on Friday 10 April.
The man was later identified as 63-year-old Nicholas Clark. A post-mortem examination confirmed his death was not suspicious and that he'd died from natural causes.
Further enquiries were made at Mr Clark's home and officers found it was being used as a cannabis factory.
Two people were arrested and interviewed.
Paul Jackson, 39, of Catbrain Lane, was charged with preventing the lawful burial of a body, one count of theft and one count of producing a class B drug.
Anthony Whillier, 29, of Royal Victoria Park, Bristol, was charged with two counts of producing a class B drug.
Both were released on bail.

Pedestrians Hit By Ambulance Car
A man and woman are being treated in hospital after being hit by an ambulance car in Cheltenham. According to reports, the two pedestrians, a 32-year-old woman and 30-year-old man, were hit by the car at about 00:20 on Monday morning as it responded to an emergency.

Disabled Woman Found Dead In Car
A disabled woman found stabbed to death in her car near her home in Harlow, Essex, has been named. Jennifer Macaree was discovered in Hadley Grange on the outskirts of Harlow early on Saturday. Essex Police confirmed she was in the driver's seat of her black Vauxhall Corsa in a parking area near her flat shortly after 3am.

The incident happened at approximately 1:45am on the B704 near Dalhousie Castle on 23 July. The man was unable to get into the car, which drove off south towards Gorebridge.

A woman has been attacked and dragged into an alleyway by a man after he flagged down her car in Sussex. At approximately 8:30pm on 22 July, the 21-year-old victim was driving on Fontwell Road in Selsey when a man waved at her, signalling for her to stop.

Two more arrested over attempted car bombings
Police investigating the attempted car bombings in London and Glasgow airport have arrested two more people. Two men, aged 28 and 25, were arrested in the Paisley area, west of Glasgow on Sunday night Five people are still being held in connection with the attacks, but it is believed that at least one suspect remains on the run.
