So Solid singer appears in court over murder charge
One of Britain's top rap artists has appeared in court today charged with the murder of a 24-year-old man in south London.
Dwayne Vincent, 25, of Baron's Court, London, who is a member of the band So Solid Crew, faces a murder charge and a charge of possession of a firearm. The charges relate to an incident which took place on November 6, when Colin Scarlett was shot and mortally wounded in Tooting, London.
Appearing at Camberwell Magistrates Court today, Mr Vincent was remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on December 3.
A second man, Carl Morgan, 22, of Yelverton Road, Battersea, south London, has also been charged with the same offences.
