Teen jailed over part in killing for baseball cap
A teenager who participated in the killing of another youth for his designer baseball cap has been jailed for ten years.
Lascelles Hazel, 17, was convicted of the manslaughter of 15-year-old Kieran Rodney-Davis in March.
Kieran died after being stabbed during the mugging, in Fulham, west London, last June.
Hazel was cleared of murder at his trial – he was said not to have actually handled the knife, but was said to have been part of a "joint enterprise".
Hazel was also convicted of robbery and received an additional five year sentence. The sentences will run concurrently.
During sentencing at the Old Bailey, Judge Giles Forrester described the stabbing as "vicious, ugly and cowardly".
Two eighteen-year-olds were recently arrested in connection with the death.
Police said they had been previously arrested in connection with the inquiry, but were not charged and were later released. They are currently remanded on police bail and are due to reappear in court later this month.

Minister pledges flood relief cash
Communities Secretary Hazel Blears has pledged funding to local authorities to help with flood relief. Health Secretary Alan Johnson, who is the MP for Hull, recently visited Hull which he described as "the forgotten city." Ms Blears is visiting Hull on Friday, after a visit to Sheffield.
