Three sought over Anthony Walker murder
Police investigating the murder of black teenager Anthony Walker have revealed that they are seeking three other people in connection with his death.
The 18-year-old A-Level student was found dead in McGoldrick Park in Merseyside on July 29. He had been attacked with an axe.
Paul Taylor, 20 and Michael Barton, 17, have been charged with Anthony’s murder and are currently awaiting trial.
However, police have said that they believe there were five people present at the murder scene.
In a statement, Detective Chief Superintendent Peter Currie said: “The Merseyside Police believe that there were five people present at the murder scene at the relevant time. We believe that the identity of two of those people are known and we are anxious to identify the other three.”

Man Charged With Attempted Murder
A man has been charged with attempted murder following an incident in Faversham at the weekend. Kent Police confirmed Lincoln Payne, of no fixed abode, had been charged with robbery, theft and two counts of attempted murder following an incident in Fostall Avenue on Saturday, 30 May.

The discovery of human remains at a house in Nottinghamshire has become a double murder investigation, police have said. Police were speaking on Monday about the discovery on October 10 of the remains of two bodies in the garden of a house in Blenheim Close, Forest Town, Nottinghamshire. Police say they were led to the property by a tip.

Attempted murder inquiry launched after shooting
Gwent Police have launched an attempted murder inquiry following the shooting of two brothers in Abergavenny on Sunday. Police were called to reports of a shooting in Usk View, Govilon on Sunday afternoon. Two men, brothers Gareth Harris, 17, and Anthony Price, 20, were found in the garden of a house, with gunshot wounds to the lower legs.

Man Arrested Over McKenna Killing
A 46-year-old man is being questioned by police in relation to an attack which left a man dead and his son seriously injured. Graham McKenna, 45, and his 14-year-old son Michael were stabbed on Upton Road in Claughton, Wirral, Merseyside.
