British climbers found dead in Spain
The bodies of three British climbers have been found in the Sierra Nevada mountains in Spain.
According to reports, the three men were found on Mulhacen, the highest peak in the Sierra Nevada range, a day after they were caught in a snowstorm on a climbing expedition.
The names of the men have not yet been released.
It is understood that one member of the party left the group to get help and raised the alarm yesterday.
According to the Spanish state news agency Efe, a Civil Guard rescue team discovered the bodies. They are thought to have died from hypothermia.
A police spokesperson told Efe that the trip appeared to be "reckless". The state news agency reported that the men did not have proper clothes or footwear for the expedition.
