Seven protestors arrested at airport
Police have arrested seven people at Prestwick airport after boarding a plane to search for bombs being transported to Israel.
According to reports, three women, aged 48, 55 and 68, and four men, aged 35, 46, 50 and 56 were arrested around 3:30am on Monday.
Two men - aged 35 and 46 - and the 55-year-old women are understood to have got onboard a US military plane.
Four other people, a 25-year-old man and three women aged 36, 45, and 52, were also arrested at the airport in the early hours of Sunday.
All of those arrested are due to appear in court on Tuesday.
The protests were over US military flights, transporting bombs to Israel, stopping at UK airports for refuelling.
In July, US President George W. Bush apologised for failing to to ask for permission from the government for a plane carrying bombs to Israel to land at Prestwick airport.

Mothers are having 20% more multiple births than they were a decade ago, according to figures released today by the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Statistics have revealed that in 2002, the multiple birth rate was 15 per 1,000 women giving birth, compared with 12.5 in 1992.

Greenpeace Protestors Arrested For Heathrow Plane Banner
Four Greenpeace activists breached security at Heathrow Airport and climbed on top of a Boeing 777 jet on Monday. It is understood that the incident happened shortly after the plane, which had flown from Manchester, landed at Terminal 1 around 9.45am on Monday.
