Two killed in bus crash
Two women have been killed in a crash involving a bus in Cheshire.
The collision happened around 8:45am on Monday morning on Mobberly Road in Knutsford.
According to initial eyewitness reports, the bus mounted the pavement and collided with the two women. However, police later said that the bus did not leave the road.
It is understood that the women are mother and daughter, with one woman in her 70s and the other in her 50s.
The single decker bus involved in the crash, the 288 Arriva service, is understood to have been carrying around 12 passengers, including schoolchildren. However, no-one on-board was injured.
The road is closed and is expected to remain closed for several hours.

UK sees 20% increase in multiple births over 10 years
Mothers are having 20% more multiple births than they were a decade ago, according to figures released today by the Office for National Statistics (ONS). Statistics have revealed that in 2002, the multiple birth rate was 15 per 1,000 women giving birth, compared with 12.5 in 1992.

Bus crash women named
Two women who died after being hit by a bus in Cheshire on Monday have been named. Jenny Webb, 83, and her daughter Jean Webb, 53, were struck by the bus as they were crossing Mobberly Road in Knutsford around 8:45am on Monday morning.

School Bus Crash In Hereford
A school bus carrying around 20 children has crashed in Hereford. It is understood the bus was taking pupils to Bishop of Hereford's Blue Coat School and St Mary's Roman Catholic School when it crashed on the Holme Lacy Road at about 08:20 on Monday morning.
