Woman indecently assaulted in 'horrific' attack
A woman has been indecently assaulted in an attack in Glasgow which police have described as "horrific".
The incident happened at the woman's flat in Sauchiehall Street, opposite the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, around 5pm on Saturday.
The woman was assaulted as she opened her front door. Strathclyde Police said that she did not require hospital treatment, but was left shaken and extremely distressed by the ordeal.
The suspect is described as white, aged in his 40s, and of short and stocky build with a shaven head. He was wearing a dark blue T-shirt and light blue jeans at the time of the attack.
Detective Constable Martin Smith from Strathclyde Police, said: "This is a horrific crime committed in broad daylight in this woman's own home and she had been left absolutely distraught by this.
"This man poses a serious risk to the public and he must be caught. "
Police have appealed for anyone who was in the area of Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum between 4pm and 5pm on Saturday to contact them on: 0141 532 3232 or Crimestoppers anonymously on: 0800 555 111.

Body Found In Search For Missing Woman
A body has been discovered in Sutton Mill by police investigating the disappearance of Jennifer Hayman. The body was found at 18:00 on Thursday. Formal identification has not yet been made, but police said that Ms Hayman's family have been informed of the find. A post-mortem is due to be carried out to establish the cause of death.

Human Remains Found During Search For Missing Woman
Police Scotland have confirmed that human remains have been found during the search for missing 19-year-old Hazel North. A search had been ongoing for Ms North, who was from Dunfermline and has been missing since 04 March. Police have not yet been confirmed if the remains found in Dean Park are those of Ms North.

Boys Aged 10 Charged With Rape
Police in west London have charged two 10-year-old boys with rape. The pair are accused of raping an eight-year-old girl in October. Each of the boys faces two counts of attacking a female under the age of 13, following advice from the Crown Prosecution Service, the Metropolitan Police said.

Police Seal Second House In Norwich Murder Investigation
An investigation has been launched following the discovery of an elderly woman's body at a house in Norwich. According to reports the woman is believed to have been sexually assaulted and subjected to a sustained assault. Police confirmed the body was discovered at a house in The Avenues at about 17:30 on Sunday.
