Take That to play Diana concert
Take That have confirmed that they will play the Princess Diana memorial concert at Wembley Stadium on July 1.
The band, who reunited last year, said that they were "very honoured" to play the show, which is organised by Prince William and Prince Harry to mark the tenth anniversary of their mother's death.
Singer Mark Owen said: "We were all due to be away with our families on the date of the event when the concert was first announced, but after being asked to perform last week we got together and decided we wanted to do anything we could to help make Diana's concert one of the highlights of the summer.
"Diana was an inspiration to so many people and we feel privileged to have met her."
Last week, Lily Allen, Kanye West, The Feeling, Rod Stewart, Natasha Bedingfield, James Morrison, Orson and Status Quo were added to the line-up for the concert, which will be held on what would have been Diana's 46th birthday.
Other acts previously announced for the concert include Sir Elton John, Duran Duran, Joss Stone, Bryan Ferry and Pharrell Williams.
The current allocation of tickets has not sold out, but the concert will be broadcast live on television.
