Diana memorial concert plans unveiled
Princes William and Harry have unveiled plans to stage a concert to mark the tenth anniversary of the death of their mother, Diana, Princess of Wales.
The Concert For Diana will be held at the new Wembley Stadium on July 1 - the princess' birthday.
Acts confirmed to appear so far include Sir Elton John, who sang 'Candle In The Wind' at the princess' funeral, Joss Stone, Bryan Ferry, Pharrell Williams and Duran Duran, Diana's favourite band.
The English National Ballet will also make an appearance, while Andrew Lloyd Webber will stage a medley of songs from his West End Shows, in order to reflect the princess' love of dancing and musicals.
More acts are to be confirmed at a later stage.
Tickets for the concert are priced at £45 with proceeds from the concert going to a number of the charities that Diana supported, as well as two of William and Harry's charities Centrepoint and Sentebale.
A memorial service will also be held at a yet-to-be confirmed venue in London on August 31, the date that Diana died in a car crash in Paris.
Senior royals, including the princes' stepmother, the Duchess of Cornwall, are expected to attend, along with members of the Spencer family.
