Two Men Killed In County Cork Road Accident

Two men have died following a road accident last night near Fermoy in the north of County Cork.

The crash happened at Straw Hall when the car hit a wall on the Fermoy to Middelton Road at around 9.20pm last night.

The car was carrying five people and the two men that died were back seat passengers.

All five people in the car are in their late teens and early 20s and two women and a male passenger were also injured during the accident.

The female driver and a female passenger have been discharged from Cork University Hospital while the male passenger’s condition is described as stable.

The road will remain closed this morning as a forensic examination is carried out.

Witnesses Sought Over Fatal Road Accident
Police have appealed for witnesses of a fatal road traffic accident in Hayes, Hillingdon. Two men suffered critical injuries when a motorcycle collided with a car on Lansbury Drive at about 18:28 on Sunday, 27 September. One of the men, believed to be aged 24, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Reward Offered In 2010 Murder Of 16-Year-Old
A reward of £20,000 has been offered for information leading to a conviction for the 2010 murder of 16-year-old Samuel Adelagun in Plaistow. Police have renewed their appeal on the murder of the teenager and the attempted murder of his 15-year-old friend on Saturday, 23 October 2010.

First Cork Plane Crash Victims Buried
The funerals of two of the Northern Ireland victims of the Cork air crash are due to be held later today. Pat Cullinan, a 45-year-old senior partner with the international accountancy firm KPMG, is to be buried after requiem mass in St Patrick's Church in the village of Cranagh near Plumbridge in Co Tyrone.
